- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Needed cash for transportation as I was visiting Ashland. Bank of the cascades ATM Charged me $8.00 in fees without consent! Insert card and it asks me if I want a balance inquiry. No fee warning. I think why not and it spits out a receipt and my card. Then I make a withdrawal and consent to a $3.00 fee. The next day I see I was charged the following : $3.00 for the "withdrawal fee" $2.50 for an "ATM fee" $2.50 for a balance inquiry ALL FROM BANK OF THE CASCADES That's $8.00 for one ATM visit and $5 of those were not disclosed to me! The machine said there would be a $3.00 fee when I made the withdrawal, which I think is a lot but standard. Pure greed and deceit. Feel totally exploited and I know there is nothing I can do to get my money back.By Brent Henrikson, February 04, 2017
